The left of the map heads toward Pomeroy; the right is "outbound" toward Minersville, Racine, etc. This is part of the car line that was taken over by the railroad when electric service was abandoned. The Google Earth photos below show some of the landscape today. Car line probably would have been on the river side of Rt. 124, or possibly under it as things now stand. It's hard to tell if the passing siding was used for scheduled passenger service, or if it was primarily a run-around track for the convenience of the freight crew. The 3rd picture shows approximately the same area as the map. These are 2009-vintage.
